Daniel Valleau, Environmental Engineer; Wakefern Food Corp.

Dan Valleau has worked as an Environmental Engineer for Wakefern Food Corp. for the last 4 years. In this role he provides support for the environmental compliance programs for both the distribution and retail sides of the business. His responsibilities include developing procedures, conducting trainings, managing permit compliance, providing technical support for the environmental management system, and performing site inspections. Dan conducts approximately 85 inspections each year across 7 distribution centers.

Before coming to Wakefern, Dan worked at the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation where his responsibilities were split between facility inspections and permit compliance. Dan holds a B.S. in Bioenvironmental Engineering from Rutgers University (2013).
